The Maria Callas Association is proud to announce to have given its support to the next auction that will be held in Drouot-Montaigne, Paris on December 2nd and 3rd , 2000 and organised by Camels, Chambre Chohen, in which Maria Callas memorabilia will be put for sale. The auction will feature objects pertaining to the Divina´s artistic and private life. The Association has approved of the initiative in order to be able to purchase other precious items to add to its extraordinary collection maintained for the purpose of keeping the memory of the beloved Maria Callas alive. It is for this very purpose that the Association's President, Mr. Bruno Tosi, has decided to anticipate the campaign for the diffusion of the membership of the Association Maria Callas. This in order to collect the funds necessary to acquire new and interesting additions that will render the wonderful Callas Exhibition even richer and more internationally renowned, helping the Association to perpetuate the Memory of Maria Callas with the help of its members.
